In 2022, we moved with our family from Ghent, Belgium to Aux Martis. We are two proud "Ghentians", but city life was increasingly out of sync with our passions. We wanted to be closer to nature and spend more time outdoors. But it was also time to change our working lives: we wanted to work for ourselves, be more flexible and have more active jobs. Our love for this region began ten years ago, when we worked at a campsite in the Dordogne. That's when the desire to return one day, permanently, was born.
